Melted Fingernail! Wtf!?

So I was possibly a little irresponsible on the fourth of July and concluded up burning the tip of my ring finger. I went to the sink and run cool water over it, bandaged it, and go to bed. And yet, the actual fingernail appears to enjoy melted. The same item happened to me when I be a toddler using a sparkler. I can't remember that time too well though, so I ask you, how long till the staple gro out back to everyday? On the bright side, I think I cultured my lesson regarding firecrackers.
