Painful ear tenderness?

Every now and again I achieve a really really bad ear throbbing. I had this ear hurting today too. It is really painful, resembling a flashing pain and the cramp is so intense that when it happens, it make me jump. Is in attendance any kinda remedy for ear ache??
I dunno if it's an ear infection. I've have this pain on and sour since the last few months

This could be a condition known as swimmers ear. Water go into your ears and stays in the hollow tube creating gunk in your ear so you experience pain.
