There's a process for body art called scarification. Basically, don't verbs it, rub coarse material surrounded by it, do everything you normally would try to avoid for a wound apart from contact near rusty nails.
With simply a burn, because it's probably already anesthetized, I would suggest heating doesn`t matter what you're using to burn to a higher warmth, possibly out of an oven.
