Well, I have mono almost 3 years ago (I was surrounded by my late 20's). From adjectives my research, the bottom line is explicitly affects everyone differently or at least to a different level.

I have read of seriously of cases where individuals just feel overly tired, but they really just thought they have the flu and went on beside mostly normal go, but they were only tired.

I have found though, that for most populace, the really bad tiredness last for 6 to 8 weeks and makes some nation unable to function surrounded by normal enthusiasm during that time. For others, the tiredness lasts like amount, but they are somewhat functional.

In my case? Well, I hope not too masses people are similar to me! I ended up COMPLETELY non-functional for just about 2 1/2 to 3 months (it was ALL I could do to gain up and go to the bathroom and form it back to bed). I couldn't even see TV because it was too complex to concentrate. I couldn't read, I couldn't do much of anything. As you can imagine, I enjoy never been so completely bored surrounded by my entire life!

Anyway, I started to rest after that, but it was a long, slow process. It took in the order of 6 months until I was semi-normal and in the order of a year until it seemed approaching I was pretty much over it.

Now, don't freak out. I really doubt that it will be that fruitless for you. You see, I finally figured out that the big problem for me be the *combination* of things that I had. I own had fibromyalgia for a few years presently and have have a lot of get-up-and-go issues from that. I think it be the combination of the two that did me in!

Okay, what do I recommend? Whatever you do, don't overextend yourself. Doing too much actually make it worse, not better (not just for me - this be in deeply of stuff I read too). If you feel tired, rest. Don't preserve pushing. There is no set amount of sleep that you should get, but freshly sleep if you need to. Don't verbs about if it seem like you sleep too much. That is what you are supposed to do. Get as much rest as you can.

I also recommend taking your vitamins and minerals so that your body can treat itself. This is really important.

Also, don't starve yourself. For several weeks, I ate almost zilch and that was NOT a devout thing. Even if you don't grain like consumption, get as much down as you can -- and try to hold it be something that is truly good for you, as cast-offs food will only create it worse. Besides, if you are not eating much, your body wants all the nutrition it can draw from from the food. EAT GOOD STUFF!!

Well, that is adjectives I can think of for immediately. I wish you the best of luck and a early recovery. I know it can be difficult, but I made it through, and I am sure yours will be shorter!

Feel free to email me if you own any other specific questions, although I can't guarantee that I will enjoy an answer, I can try.

P.S. I just remembered -- NEVER lift antibiotics while you have mono. It will get it worse, worse, worse. Mono is viral and if you take something expected for bacterial it will only trademark it stronger.

I need comfort, but don't know how to ask.?

it's not the number of hours you sleep, it's how you feel after so tons hours of sleep. Your body will tell you if you stipulation to sleep. There's really no set amount of time. W/mono you will probably be a lot more tired. If you're tired, try to sleep. This give your body time to heal itself.

All you can get. Sleep at lowest possible 12-14 hours a day, and more if you own understanding ethnic group around you. Mono leaves you weak for a couple of years.

If your family unit doesn't believe you, get your doctor to explain it to them. It will appropriate a lot longer to catch better if you don't sleep all you can win.

It depends on the severity of the disease. Some people own mono without even self aware of it. They may think they basically have cold symptoms. Other general public are exhausted. Both of my daughters got mono when they be your age. My oldest daughter came home from arts school exhausted and was asleep by 8:00pm every hours of darkness. My other daughter had a runny proboscis and felt a bit run down. She also had a low category fever. When I took her to the doctor her mono interview was positive. She didn't really sleep much more than she usually did, though. Your body will relay you how much sleep you need.

With Mono I be told to sleep as much as I could to help my body use the time to obtain over it. The doctor said to sleep when you are tired. Which was adjectives the time when I had mono. At first I feel guilty about spending so much time sleeping, but he said that it's the best entity when you are sick as your body needs sleep to give support to you recover.
