Severe sticky sunburn?

i was at the coast over the weekend and dispite all of my attempts of putting on sunscreen i still get a pretty severe burn on my back. Its fundamentally "sticky" and painful...im curious to see if it's mundane for a sunburn to become sticky when there is no lotion or aloe on the nouns...i did have a frenzy and chills the first night, only a small fever today...

"Sticky" may not be normal, but it's not peculiar, either. Bathe or shower beside a hypo-allergenic soap (least likely to burn). In other words, maintain the area verbs. Avoid the sun. If the pain bothers you, try caladryl lotion which will hang on to it from itching and relieve the pain.

has the skin peeled? it doesn't usually become sticky. the skin usually dries up and peel. it could be infected, what colour is the "sticky" stuff? if it's yellow and doesn't achieve better, you should see a doc.
