How long does it take a broken right foot (5th metatarsaul) to alleviate completely? anyone know?

never broken a bone before. i broke it contained by a bad topple july friday the 13th and just wondering on what approximate daytime i can walk short the crutches or walking cast.

I had a walking cas fitted afet in the region of a week.. use the crutches for at least a week .. . Thats what i did... but it depends on what they told you as to when you shoudl tramp without crutches. It depends on the severity of the fracture...

A broken bone usually take about 6-8 weeks to mend depending upon your age and the severity of the break. My former secretary broke equal bone and was on crutches for at lowest possible 6 weeks, though it might have be a little longer. I ruminate I'd look at the rest of the summer on crutches and early spatter in a walking form.

I broke my heel once, and the cast be so big and bulky that it made it worst. The next doctor put me surrounded by a plastic boot a week later and that be so much better. They make plastic boots beside an inflatable lining that pumps up to fit your foot snuggly. It fits really tight. You can run it off when you travel to bed at night and reinflate it in the morning.
