If it is not safe what is the maximum time i can suntan and it CAN be safe for me? Can anything i do label it more safe? Anything else you know in the region of tanning in the sun?

wear a minium of 15spf. Re-apply every 30 minutes or so; depending on how long you are tanning. You wll still seize a tan if you use spf 15. The trick is NOT TO BURN!
