If you have any trouble breathing, progress to the ER or call 911 right away because a broken rib can sometimes puncture your lung. If you enjoy any other troubling signs, such as: excruciating pain, a amazingly hard/stiff abdomen, dizziness, sweating, shaking...these could be signs of internal bleeding or shock...give the name 911 immediately.
I don't know how inadequately you were hit, and these things are not that potential unless the blow was severe, but you want to know what to watch for.
