Has anyone ever have Tenosynovitis?

It occurs surrounded by the hand when tendons and the tendon sheath on the thumb side of the wrist swell and become inflamed. I have it last year contained by my left paw and it took months for it to go away. Now I own it in my right mitt. I'm using a splint, icing it, and taking ibuprofen to reduce the swelling. Does anyone know of any tricks to assist it go away faster?
