i doubt it...usually a dr. will prescibe a treatment plan of pain med approaching (aleve) for 7 days prior, during and after ur period. but this is profoundly of med. plus if ur irregular it is hard to establish when to start taking it. not to mention how it hurts ur stomach. nothing except narcotics really worked for me any including the aleve option. my cramps be so severe, that i would pass out, and on several occasion i went to the er. but i still be not given vicodin or anything else similar. so i doubt they'll give u anything either. i be finally put on the pill. it really got rid of the desperate cramping. i was much better. sometimes i would b somewhat uncomfortable, but nil that a motrin would not fix. ask about the pill if u r surrounded by that much pain. if u r cramping that unpromising u could have endometriosis. so, i would ask to b checked for that. most those i know who had SEVERE cramps concluded up having endometriosis. that can be treated. on the plus side, look at it this instrument. after enduring adjectives of these bad cramps....have a baby will be a breeze! the contractions will not come across as bad 4 u. to be precise the way it be 4 me anyway. hope u feel better.
Charlie Horses...what cause them, how to prevent or get rid of them?
Well I come up with vicodin may be over doing it. I think a muscle relaxant is more within order. The vicodin depends on your age, the disappointment of other treatments and personally I don't know any docs that would bestow vicodin for mentstral cramps. If you have endometriosis possibly but that should be address first.i just pierced my own ear and immediately the ear lobe is really bruised should i be worried?
Doctors very occasionally like to present out narcotics for menstrual cramps. But some people do obtain them so severely that , that is adjectives that helps. I transport Vicoprophen for mine, like vicodin, but also have ibuprofen for the inflammation. Your will have to discuss to you Doc and see....Nice try!
