Self-Harm scars- Do they ever heal/fade?

I have outdated and new scar from self harm, some almost 8/9 years old. Is it possible to grasp something (cheaper the better!) to help the scar fade? Or will they fade over time anyway?

I suggest that you try Mederma. If they have not faded by immediately on their own, it's unlikely that they ever will. You can find Mederma (or similar scar declining creams) at your local pharmacy.

In the UK you can get a product call Bio Oil from a chemist, it is claimed to reduce the appearance of scaring/ stretch results it costs around 8-9 lb but could be worth a go ( I Don't know if it would be successful on old-fashioned scarring)
