May enjoy a sprained ankle, any tips?
So first of all, I'm not even sure if it's sprained.
I be playing badmitton last dark and I rain for the birdie and did a twisting move and hit it. When I turned it seem like my body turned and my knees kind of did but my ankle stayed within place. I heard in the region of 2-3 popping noises (I guess my knees and ankle since they both hurt a lot)
It was at my friends shindig so I didn't want to make a big settlement out of it so I didn't ice it and liberal of walked on it. I tried to sit down whenever I could and maintain the pressure off of it but I don't know if I made it worse.
I inevitability to use it on the 14th (with today being the 20th) but if I shouldn't (in armour I make it worse) I single have until the 20th (about a week) to permit it heal.
I don't know if I should walk to a hospital or if there is some other route to treat it.
I also don't have an ACE heating pad at the moment, but if I need one I can gain it.

i would try the RICE method first (REST ICE COMPRESSION ELEVATION). And if it doesnt get better by tmorrow progress to the doctor or hospital.
I do this as i am a Goalkeeper and have have many finger sprains and breaks.
Have you ever met anyonr next to six toes on 1 foot?
If you heard popping noise it sounds like something is dislocated. If in that is any swelling/discoloration you should go to a doctor, surrounded by the meantime ice it and stay stale it at much as possible. Keep it elevated as well. Good luck.ok put it up 4 a whle time dont walk on it at adjectives unless u really ave to like to use the restroom or sumthing approaching that
put ice on it surrounded by hour intervals i hour ice 1 hour no rime and every time u have to put rime on it use new rime preferably ce pack with quality newspaper towel wraped around it
then for the subsequent few days just minimize the walking but wrape it near an ace bandage!!1

use the R.I.C.E method.R- rest. try to stay rotten of it as much as possible. and using an ace bandage help. make sure you wrap it beside your foot and leg making a 90 degree angle.
I- rime. use ice pack that go surrounded by the freezer or even bagees full of ice cubes. this help the inflamation.
C- compression. this is where the ace ice pack comes in!
E- elevate. when you budge to sleep, watch tv, get through or as much as possible, lift it. whether its on pillows or another bench, it helps.

Definitely use the RICE method. Also, if you heard some popping, it could niggardly torn ligaments. If you don't see improvement surrounded by a few days, definitely bring back it checked by a doctor..You absolutely need to see a doctor and acquire a referral for MRI for your ankle and knee. I hear a popping noise contained by my knee when I fell up stairs(yeah I'd have a few beers!). I am now recovering from surgery that repaired my anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus. X-ray will not show ligament or ligament damage.
In the interim rest,rime, compression bandage and elevation.
