I also have knee surgery for not merely ligament, but other issues too. My doctor doesn't want me over doing it with physio on the other hand (surgery was June 21), since it could re plunder my knee (ligament), and mete out pain. Yes physio could redamage the ligament, if it hurts, don't do it... you obligation to do some range of motion, and some strength exersizes, but don't over do it, or you will be going put money on for you 2nd surgery/ Can't believe your doctor didn't let you know

I other sleep a lot..close to 11-15 hours..?

Stick with dream therapy to minimize loss of movement range...

Have you tried Osteo-BiFlex? It's over the counter. It has glucosamine and other suitable stuff. It's worked for me and my husband after he broke his ankle. It lubes those joints that effect ache and headache. It takes a few days to work. My elder dog is arthritic and I give it her. It's so awesome to see her playin' near her toys, tail straight up again!

Well, consider this: You have a completely torn ligament.
Ligaments don't heal themselves. How long formerly the surgery did you get injured? If you be injured for some time before the surgery, afterwards your muscles in that leg would hold atrophied (shrunk).

Physical therapy does not desire to cause you agony, but rehabilitation is retraining muscles, etc. after they've been cut during surgeries. I'm not sure which ligament you have fixed (I'm assuming it was your ACL because PCL surgeries are once in a blue moon done), but you have to expect some pain- it's a main surgery. You should, however, make sure that you discuss this next to your physical therapist or Dr. This is not a put your foot in the park surgery & it will help yourself to quite some time to alleviate. Probably about a year to fully recuperate.

Do what your physical therapist tell you to & don't over do it, maybe ask him/her going on for getting a tens machine treatment or a home piece of equipment for pain nouns.

Yes, PT can explanation damage. They will inadvertantly overexercise your cohesive while trying build it up. Continue PT, but ask them for different exercises for you knee. You hold to tell them how fruitless it hurts because only you know. Ask your doctor.

I am looking for a soul to assist my in Elderly home robustness care services, can anyone oblige?

Hopefully not, the physical therapist should know exactly what to do. Therapy is not fun and alot of times greatly painful, but try to droop in in that.
If you have be immobilized for a while its going to nick some time to get full ROM final and all of your tendons and ligament are going to be tight so misery is to be expected. Try taking pain medication previously going.
