Is acupuncture helpful surrounded by relieving a strained ankle?

I twisted my ankle playing soccer last Saturday (stupid hole on the enclosed space where I took a misstep), it's slowly reaction better; I was wondering if acupuncture would speed up the process. I still own black and blue marks close at hand sole of my foot.

I don't know about something so recent and acute, but I own several friends, and my father that have said that acupuncture help with long permanent status aches and pains they hold. Personally I had acupuncture on my posterior a few years ago and I wasn't impressed.

Sprained ankles suck, especially since they take so long to restore to health. Try the acupuncture, it can't hurt, but I think it's probably lately going to take time.
