I'd send a food picnic basket with lots of fruit and treats surrounded by it as well as a winter sport if he's into video games it will give him nutrition and the activity will give him something to do. If he can't play a video winter sport get him a book on something he's interested in or a Maxim magazine in that a good read even for women.Sorry your boyfriend is sick and I hope he receive well soon and your a great girlfriend to effort enough to ask.
Oh, the possibilities are perpetual. Think of "comfort" gifts...magazines, some soda and munchies, and especially one of those long-arm "grabbers" so that he can conquer things without getting out of the bed.
Make him some coupons for things close to a special meal served within bed, backrub, total TV control for a day where on earth he watches nothing but what he wishes to watch, etc.
When my husband have hernia surgery, I went out and bought the naughtiest black lace lingerie I could find. When he open it up, I told him that the OTHER half of that present would be given to him once he heal...it really gave him something to look forward to!!
