What are the steps in performing back blows for pregnant women?
FYI: pay for blow is a technique for getting an object out of a choking human being...
Answer:
The only individual you would ever preform back blows on are infants where on earth you can hold the head lower than the rest of the body. Back blows on an full-grown will only bring the object explicitly lodged in the airway too become further lodged. for a pregnant woman you would do chest thrusts merely.
WALK SLOWLY. DONT CARRY HEAVY ITEMS
KEEPCALM. PRAY GOD FOR EASY DELIVERY.
I am AGAINST the recent modification in policy replacing abdominal thrusts beside back blows surrounded by all cases. I'm a firm believer that abdominal thrusts perform correctly by a trained rescuer are more effective than final blows.
However, in your scenario, pregnancy is a contra-indication for abdominal thrust and a chest thrust (similar to chest compressions) would be perform instead.
To answer your question, however: Back slap = overt palm slap between the shoulder blades until object become loosened/expelled or the person go unconcious.
