Which is cooler (temperaturewise) a long leg plaster cast, or a fibreglass type?

Almost two weeks ago, I broke my leg-someone ran into me next to their bicycle. I was within the hospital for 6 days, then be released with this lashing long leg cast. Next week I enjoy to go rear legs to make sure the bones are knit properly. The fibre form that I have immediately, is ok but I was wondering is a plaster sort cooler? Also, are both types af cast equally as strong? Please insist on.
