My hamster wakes up at (9:10pm) i pocket him and let him run just about for about 10 mins put him pay for and falls asleep 5 mins later is this purely triedness

I wouldn't worry roughly it if he looks healthy, he probably get up again in the night. They are nocturnal and ours recurrently doesn't get up until midnight or after.

How outdated is he, the average lifespan of a hamster can vary between 1.5 to 3 years i've have a few friends hamsters who've lived to that age. MY current hamster meg is 2.5 and she's gone like that immediately. As they get elder they sleep for longer and longer periods :) sometimes the weather and flimsy messes up their body clock in summer my hamster seem to be asleep alot more and awake alot in winter. that might of late be mine though. If the hamster is quite childish and your worried i'd suggest popping him to the vets purely to be sure :)
