Could I hold Pink Eye?

I was exposed to a child who possibly have pink eye last Saturday, and this morning I woke up beside gunky stuff in my eyes, more than the usual "sleep". I get a cold a couple of days ago that's making my throat a little soar and my feeler stuffy... however, I think that could be allergies. So is what's up near my eye pink eye or just allergies? How long would it give somebody a lift for pink eye to show on me if I was exposed to it over a week ago? Thanks!

I Think If It is firm brown or black stuff it is pink Eye!!
