I have a burn and I am wondering if its ok, it looks atypical?

Ok, I got adjectives on my dad's motorcycle (the muffler) while I was trying to take the groceries out. I told dad and within second he had me icing it down, afterwards he had me dry if helpfully, then we spread stuff on it, I reflect it was call Idocane? Something like that, for the first sunshine, but then it started to hurt when I put it on. Then the skin, which be then low tan brown, peel off. It have been 3 days presently, and its starting to hurt a little, it didn't hurt much when I first get it. It is now slightly, massively slightly red around the edges. It is roughly 2 inches by 1 inch, on the thickest part of my calf(outside) and the actual burn is a sort of deep suntan with red surrounded by it color. It does not when I touch it and only a touch when I press down on it. It feels type of papery and I can feel grill coming from it. Is my burn healing correctly? Thank you and I hope I give you enough information, I give all I could reflect of.

sounds about right... a 2nd level burn i'd say.
you may want to cover it surrounded by oinment like polysporin & wrap it beside gauze or a large band-aid. modification the bandage once a morning, wash it beside soap & water when you rebandage it.

My moms a nurse and i imagine u should go ask the doctor to be sure. it sounds approaching it might be infected... if you don't get it treated properly it can bring back worse and make you sick. Im not trying to alarm you. just making sure you know.

At this point you have already messed next to it enough. Do not put anything else on it. I have a serious burn recently, turned black and swelled up similar to a golf ball.

My wife have me going to the emergency room at 2 am. The doctor said to keep it dry when taking a shower and not to touch or pick at it.. The burn took nearly 10 days to completly heal, and in a minute there isn't even a defect. This was 6 months ago.

At that time my research indicated that a wound close to this will heal on its own. Don't pick at it or even touch it. Don't put anything on it. You don't necessitate to go to the emergency room unless you own high frenzy, nausea, dizziness, severe pain, or confusion.

Of course a YA is not a substitute for a medical feelings, but sometimes the experience of another can help a great deal.
