I've have an ear infection for over 2 weeks !?

Is this ok? Does it sometimes take this long to shift away or should I start to worry roughly it? I've been to the doctor twice & enjoy been on two different antibiotics :/

If you finished your ending antibiotics you need to move about to the doctor again. Infections that close to the brain can cause serious problems or you could even draw from mastoiditis which is treated by surgery. I'd take some species of decongestant also. This will help dry out the inner ear and minister to the antibiotic work.

i have an ear infection for almost 8 months once. even taking different antibiotics wouldn't get rid of the bugger. i started taking allegra-D, it have a decongestant, that helped my sinuses drain and eventually the infection go away.

I would check backbone with the Dr. and see what they voice.. It depends really on how bad it is infected.. I have a really bad ear infection and I have to put wicks in my ear so that the pills when get within my ear.. The doctor gave them to me so check beside him and see if maybe they would serve clear it up quicker..
