What could be cause this?

My husband is coughing...?

My husband has have this cough for months.

he'll be coughing really bad for several minutes..up to partly an hour..then the cough beside sound similar to it rattles contained by his chest then suddenly stops. Sometimes he taste blood but no blood ever comes up...and as he's coughing fluid will sometimes come out of his nose...

and it's almost predictable when it happen as it happens almost exactly like peas in a pod times during the day..

but we've tried everything to remove everything that could possibly be causing it from cleaning to bleaching everything...but it still happen...

any idea what this could be?

he doesn't smoke..never have.

and he's had an xray and they didn't find anything...

could it be TB? if so how...since..he never go anywhere..he can't work right now..and hasn't for relatively a while..

and because of the field i work contained by..i was tested for TB going on for a month or 2 ago..and tested Negative...

TB is doubtful.

My Dad is on a medication where coughing is a possible side effect. He have jags where this occur. When it occurs, he go to his GP and gets a marks for one of the asthma medications (steroids) and it will turn away for 3 to 6 months after one week of treatment.

Is your significant other on any blood pressure medication or similar? Check all things for this as a possible side effect.

Also speak beside the General Practioner (GP) about have a spirometery test for lung dimensions to see what is going on. He could have some munificent of adult start asthma.

If it is at the same time of sunshine and specifically after a meal, it could be the result of sour reflux. That would also be another point for your GP to check.

Can u wash your hand too much?
