Anyone ever have a heel spur? I've had 2 injections of cortisone and no nouns.?

My doc is sending me to orthopedic surgeon. Please let me know if surgury have worked for you. I'm in chronic niggle.

Yes, I had a heel spur and I know it is VERY itchy. I had surgery. After surgery be prepared for have a cast for up to six weeks. My heel hasn't bothered me since.

i have heel spurs and its not the bone that hurts but the muscle that was stretched. i took motrin for 10 weeks roughly speaking, made sure i wore good shoes. it started when i wore cheap shoes and walk on hard floors, and cause inflammation. so thje advil will help beside the pain and cut back on inflammation. it does take a while to get better but i never considered surgery. this was over 15 years ago and i havent have any throuble since then.goodluck;)michele
