I hold a ridge on my thumbnail.?
A ridge or bump is raising up on my thumbnail and it hurts. Anybody know why that would come to pass with no injury? THX

Yes, I hold one nail that looks scalloped. My doc told me it be from arthritis. Don't know your age, but arthritis is something that can effect you at any age. The bone in your finger causes pressure and presses down on the staple causing ridges or ripples. I have this for years & hated it. I started taking herb & in 2 months it be gone. It's great. Another thing that help with strong nail & growth is Jello. The gelatin has Keratin in it, which is what nail are made of
You could enjoy a small infection under the pin, a cyst or tumor. If it hurts go see a Doc.
ive have this since i was immature. some people surrounded by my family enjoy it, so i think it is genetic. i hold asked doctors about it. within is not arthritis link that the doctors ive see willingly own up... i had one doctor share me its psoriasis, which you might have if within is an infection.
