Why is my leg hurting so unpromising?

I just woke up on saturday and my leg really hurt, it feel like a muscle strain type entry but i didn't do any excericse the day past. i can't keep it straight and it hurts unless i sleep near it in a singular position.
Anyone have a clue why it's hurting me?
