It can be. It is inferior vicodin and other opiod based medication but it can be used for that purpose. I would not recomend it though from what I understand medical proffesionals are starting to find out that it can be physically addictive.

I suppose someone is somewere. However, I have taken it for my cronic migraines previously and I didn't feel anything from it bar a reduction surrounded by pain. It is addictive as in good health. I wouldn't recomend taking it recreationally or any drug for that matter. You never know what characteristics of damage you would be doing to your body.
