Is my cartilage piericing infected?

it was fine and heal since i got it piereced. consequently i put a cheap earring in. and it hurt so i took it out. cleaned my ear. tryed to put a good earing in but it started bleeding and i couldnt return with the earring through. so i just vanished it out. then a daylight or 2 later near was for a while lump of the back of my ear and i put the earing put a bet on in it be bleeding a little bit. it doesnt hurt when theres an earring in it immediately. what should i do? is it infected?
