I broke my ankle 3 weeks ago and it has be in a sort for 2.5 weeks. I have stayed sour of it and kept it elevated as much as possible. Still, when I am up on it long enough to brush my teeth and achieve dressed or make a sandwich, my toes turn purplish and it swells. It make doing anything pretty miserable. I want to go to work (desk job) but when I do travel for 4-5 hours, I pay for it at dark with misery and swelling. I went backbone to the ortho 3 days after casting complaining it be too tight and the casting tech cut slits surrounded by it which helped some. When will this stop? When can I be up on the crut ches for for than 5 minutes minus a blue swollen foot?

This time I actually did what I be supposed to do (or not do), and now enjoy no trouble out of that one! I guess what I'm getting at is to make sure you're doing what you're supposed to do- elevation vehicle make sure it's above your heart. I intellectual my sofa was my friend! I broke my ankle and it be traumatic.It takes time for that to treat and nothing else will do.You should hang about another month before you consider going put money on to work.
It took 3 months before I could tramp with any comfort.That be with physical dream therapy being done twice a week for a month.
