I found out by misfortune... I was within to body shaving long before I be told that its "Sunnah" to shave underarms and pubes. Personally, the first time I shaved my pubes, it looked like I be wearing a pair of black pant that had the crotch nouns removed, showing my BARE privates! Hence, I then get into shaving off "somewhat more" every time.

There is nothing within the Quran saying you must or must not. Its adjectives in a "Hadith". Hope this help. Best of luck to you.

It is NOT compulsory. The piece is, it is Sunnah. Sunnah does not mean that you enjoy to do it. It's your preference. Some culture like it growing close to a forest, and vice versa. And I also think you can't enunciate anything about feminine preference. Shaving it sour with a blade will cause MANY problems. Search the web and you'll find 'em. You can do waxing etc., but you can hold on to it simple but cutting a bit of, trimming. That's preferred since it's risk free and helps within hygiene and clears up the mess.

The hair is essential there for sexual purposes. It produces a special scent (pheromones) which increase sexual attraction towards you. But I would suggest you trimmed it because, even though the scent is here, it would get severely messy if it's bushy.

And, when you come down to it, it's all YOUR choice. Just be aware of the risks if you;re doing it. Islamically, it's only just Sunnah.
