Does tendinitis completely heal?
I lift up weights and i hav been havin sharp pains in my shoulder. my doc told me its tendinitis and lay stale liftin for awhile. i went to the gym and did shoulder work and that sharp stomach-ache came bak juss for the while i be working out. i wanna kno if my tendinitis will completely heal and can i budge bak to working out intense lik i used to?

tendinitis is a chronic condition..it may improve or it may not right away. don't do the weights even so..just nurse your shoulder by doing small exercises to it..what i would suggest to you (and i am sure your doc already told you) is whip motrin/advil or ibuprofen to decrease the swelling. later exercise shoulder little by little..stretch it..put hot/cold packs to your shoulder...if you don't seee any improvements, afterwards your doc would probably give you cortisone shots..if that doesn't remodel it, then your doctor will probably directive an MRI (x-ray that sees your tissue) to see if you enjoy a tear of your ligament etc. he/she may even refer you to orthopedics if there is a huge hole of your tendon...ending resort for this tendinitis is usually surgery, but try to avoid it b/c i hear that surgery may not even improve the tendinitis and may worsen it..so my suggestion..hold your motrin and exercise your arm little by little..refrain from the weights for a long time..don't erect anything heavier than 25 pounds..good luck!
It can heal but you involve to give it a couple of months or more. Ice it 20 minutes 3 times a light of day and use ibuprofen or Naproxen a couple times of day. If it doesn't catch better in a couple weeks you may stipulation to get a cortisone injection.

Yes but it take time to heal.No. i can guarentee it will other affect you in some form. I have a very fruitless case contained by my elbow once from a job. It wasn't hurting too fruitless and then soon in the middle of lifting a stocky object my arm merely dropped and went numb for 20 minutes. Found out it be tendonitis that had be affecting me for week. And while it doesn't bother me 99% of the time anymore, if i start to do any repetitive motions like those that cause the problem, it starts to inflame and hurt again. You can try finding a brace (will be hard for a shoulder) that help keep the muscle in place, but i would suggest that you bequeath it some time to rest, and when you start back surrounded by do low weight low reps to try rebuilding the muscles around the ligament to help stabilize it more up to that time you go much harder. But its thoroughly likely you wont be capable of do the same intensity anymore depending on the severity of the injury in a minute
