How can this be?

I had a MRI done the 26th of later month and I came out of the MRI beside a torn rotarty cuff and I didnt have my arm within a funny positon at all it be just lay on my abdomen. I hold been told that it is a sprained shoulder and afterwards I was told its cronic niggle. I am now not sleeping at darkness.. Please help

The only track to diagnose a torn rotator cuff is with a specific MRI of the shoulder. If your MRI be done on your head/neck, then explicitly not going to be able to outline a torn rotator cuff. Either way, the solely way to really "tear" it is to over use it resembling a quarterback or a pitcher. If your are not either of these, it could be coming from your collar (see a chiropractor), it could be a mild muscle strain (which heals within a couple weeks on its own), or it could be a muscular issue (see a massage therapist). Ice it, and that will present you relief. If you use grill, it will cause it to stiffen up.

if you be diagnosed with a torn rotary cuff...explicitly the same entry baseball players get.and the one and only option is surgery.

What was the greatest physical aching you ever felt?

What be the MRI for? were they looking for a shoulder issue? I have shoulder pain for a couple years earlier they found out it was a herniated disk surrounded by my neck cause the pain. you might want to check that within the MRI pics.

I doubt if you own a torn rotary cuff, you must have a specific type of MRI to determine that, and if your MRI be of your head single your shoulder was not on that MRI. Sounds more resembling a sprain or more likely arthritis to me. Arthritis can hit at any age and can be especially painful. A flair up could definetly could be brought on by holding it stiff in a MRI piece of equipment. I suggest taking some Aleve, it is Naproxen based and is great for easing minor/moderate spasm. Alot of docs prescribe it for minor arthritis. Also altrenate ice and grill on your shoulder 20 min on, 20 min off. Now sleeping is another issue, it is massively difficult to get comfortable satisfactory to sleep with shoulder dull pain. All I can say is PILLOWS!! Just maintain proping them until you find a way to be exact comfortable for you.
