I have chronic epstein barr and enjoy myalgic pain.
I alternate between the below depending on the afternoon and my plans.

OTC - ( 1 ) 8 hr tylenol and ( 1 ) Xtra strength Ecotrin at the same time - seem to hit all the dull pain centers.

Herbal - Zyflammend ( great stuff, sometimes works better than anything above - my doc recommended it )

The eipdural spinal injections worked for me. I have have 2 in the upper d��colletage and 2 in the lumbar. Other than a couple days of reaction very tired, I've have no side affects (well, other than a few hot flashes and detoxing the odor of the med's for a couple days). I consider them a miracle worker.
