What is Ninetendo Thumb? and will it heal?

Some on said Ninetendo thumb is from playing to much video games. Like Ds. Will it heal? I bought a untried game to days ago and hold been playing it slightly a bit and one of my thumbs hurts and is swollen.

Haha. i never hear of the term Nintendo Thumb earlier, but thats really cute. "Nintendo Thumb" is what i am assuming is "trigger Thumb" it is common when family play a lot of video games, because their thumbs are other pressing buttons. My suggestion to you would be to put some ice on the thumb when it get swollen and take an anti-inflammatory for the discomfort and you should perceive better, as well as cooling it on the video games for a couple days. If it still bothers you for more than 5 days or so you should wish medical attention, they could give you medication call Cortisone to calm that down. Good luck!
