The vertebrae of my ankle was cut yesterday, and presently I can barely tramp on it!?

There is a small but deep cut within the back of my ankle that I get last dark. It's bandaged now, but I can hardly walk on it. I can merely walk on my toes (barely), and I can scarcely flex my foot because it hurts and the cut opens. Anything I should do?
