What can I do for a pinched brass neck?

I was diagnosed six weeks ago next to a pinched nerve contained by my neck on the vanished side. I have tingling down my not here arm quite frequently. My doctor give me muscle relaxers and suggested neck exercises, along beside heat and manipulate. Nothing has help. It is very irriating, not to mention hurting. Could I have be misdiagnosed? If not is there anything else that I could do?
