18 y/o womanly, ostearthritis in spine and 3 herniated disks. I HAVE to lose counterweight! Any tips??


I'm not horridly overweight, just moderately, and I be just told that I entail to lose weight, or I'm going to be in a wheelchair by the time I'm 25 or 30.
I've get osteoarthritis in my spine, 3 bulging disks, Fibromyalgia, and this extra weightiness is making it a hell of a lot worse.
If I receive this weight past its sell-by date, I will have virtually NO distress!

I need to lose 20-30 pounds, and I want to lose at lowest possible 15 of it pretty soon.
I'm 5'2", 170-178lbs, large frame (according to the total wrist/finger ratio) and the "healthy" weight for someone my plane is supposedly 120.

If you saw me, you'd know that I would look deathly ill at 120, so my desire weight will eventiually be 145.
For presently I'm just hoping to go and get down under 160!
My dream by the first week of september is to have lost 10 pounds.

What tips can you bestow me on how to not only LOSE the substance (safely, no pills or crash diets), but keep it OFF and hold in shape?

before my injury -i be 135 pounds and worked hard..
after I had surgery and it disappeared me numb from waist down and they dold me that I would not walk again..

With 3 herniated disk anything is gonna hurt like hell- but can i instil you -PLEASE to try pool therapy1 Go to an indoor pool - DO NOt worry in the region of what you look like and gain in that wet.
You can do all like land base exercises but in the hose down and it will feel alot better because you are 1/3 your weightiness in the pool!
So I would ask the Dr for a referral right away. they own things like see boards and fun-noodles that real to bear the pressure off.
I would put the see board in front of me and lean on it -
Most pools for psychiatric help - they are the therapy pools and start near a 3ft - 5ft section.

All you eed to do too is stride back and forth contained by the water, or you can swim. doing the subsidise float or whatever. BUT BE CAREFUL YOU CAN OVER DUE IT AND THEN WHAT GOOD IS THAT... 20 minute sessions to start-
it is other important too to follow up contained by the hot tub if you can tolerate it.

I have done this - I lost 75 pounds -i be in the sea everyday-of course I had an help I owned the pool and could go at anytime. but the days i feel horrible - even if I grabbed a fun noodle or a kickboard and walk at least i be moving -or doing bicycle moves ..I got contained by there and it is soooo relaxing . once you lose a few pounds.. you will go and get soooo excited. Make sure you have dampen with you and drink adjectives you can.

I feel so much better... please sermon to me and i will encourage you every day- even when you quality horrible! YOU CAN DO IT AND MAYBE YOU HAVE A FRIEND THAT WILL STAND BY YOU!

the other thing is at dinner permeate your plate once -and spread it out - it looks more then it is and subconsciously tell you - you are full. Not saying starve... if you want more afterwards OK. but a little smaller quantity calorie intake is always prudent... It works
no fancy diets, no rigorous exercise - in 6 months time you will consistency great! I since sold my business because I needed more surgery, but i have maintain and i am rather proud of that-

get a personal trainer, exercise, chomp through small portions of healthy food, NO JUNK FOOD!

ok first thing i totally figure out about my substance is spossed to 110 for my height when i get to 120 i lookd very sick! totaly fathom out! what i do (just had a babe 6 mon. ago and my weight is still holding on but im working on it i get through 2 balanced meal a day. And i run for a walk whenever i can .So far i hold lost 20 lbs since my baby i be feeling alot better very soon i need to loose 10 more and i will be at 130 not to shrunken not to thick! tramp walk if you competent to with your fund? i wish you the best of luck!!!

Swimming and/or hose aerobics is good because you're to a certain extent floating and it takes some of the nouns off those joint.

You should first consult your doctor for see ways of exercising, what foods you should devour and how much, walk if you can, cut out and sugary drinks, white pasta, devour wheat products, high protein meat, no chicken with skin or fired chicken, drink skin or 2% milk, no candy, smaller portions of food, more fruits and veggies. Best to start next to the doctors recommendations.

Hey hun, Im a lot elder and have to use a trekker now. Here is whatI am doing ok? Pick one food that you love and is fattening , in my crust it was rime cream, and cut it out. Totally. I did this for 1 week. the 2nd week, I also added all sweet snacks . In 1 month I lost 11 pounds. This month Im going to try to cut my portion sizes down by 1/3 .it is all about retraining your body and brain . Good luck..if I can do it, you can!

They told me equal damn thing! I am 29 enjoy had several herniated discs & own degenerative disc/joint disease. even when I lost the weight I "needed" to lose I still have severe pain. I have to have surgery on my discs, & physical psychiatric therapy. Walking & eliptical machines helped me lose the most mass.
let me also afford you one tiny bit of helpful guidance. DO NOT let any doctor diagnose you next to "fibromyalgia" all it tell future doctors is that you "hurt for no reason". its a trash can diagnosis & usually keep doctors form running tests to find out what the true source of your medical pains & problems are! I know from experience. so stop unfolding doctors that you have fibromyalgia (the same go for "chronic myotaslial pain syndrome" or something similar to that name) I still own to have another surgery on my spine. but after the first one I feel 80% better than I had surrounded by a long long time. I was told I would be within a wheelchair by now too... its a tactic they sometimes use into scare you to lose the weight that they suggest is part of the problem. Now yes it might be possible that you could termination up in that bench, so losing some weight is a pious idea. but dont suggest that 20 or 30 # stands between you & a wheelchair. I lost a lot of counterbalance, but since the back problem get worse & I had surgery I gain the weight I have lost. I need to find back to the solidity I was pre surgery. so I make out what you are going thru! good luck hunny, & other get second & sometimes even third opinion, its YOUR life, not theirs.
