I currently own a fever and no other symptoms. Should I be worried and dance to emergency?

Also three months ago I got stitches contained by my belly button and one was competent to come loose except one. it looked like a small tiny stitch perceptible in the establishment but it was permanent. I went to the e.r and even the oncall surgeons couldnt give somebody a lift it out. I got this done within mexico by a well prearranged doctor on the board of surguens list. when I call him he said that eventually It will fall out but today it be red all around and my skin appears to enjoy healed over the stitch.What should I do? anyone that can sustain it would be appreciated
