I was taking vicoden for twinge then the docter put me on a fentnal 25mg patch is it ok to pilfer them both togther?

both medicine have opioid substances. when you put together some time the discomfort is worse (paradoxical effect). Ask your doctor abouit it

Fentanyl is a strong narcotic, and Vicodin is another narcotic. Taking the two together *could* OD you. Or not, depending on the dosages.

You should ask your doctor, however it sounds as if the same doctor call and said he would give you another medication to replace the one you be taking. A lower dosage so that you wouldn't become addicted.
