Supporters of Universal Health Care, what are your view on legalized narcotics?

I posted this In politics and really did not get fundamentally many answers that address my actual question so i am field this to al of you here.

Just curious, are you for legalizing the use of the poisons are addict of the country ingest.

Throught my life I hold watched my family circle and childhood friends destroyed by drugs. I left and tied the navy when i get sick of it. I am now a D.A.R.E. instructor as ably as a member of the service. So i own seen the phyical and stimulating harm drugs create.

Hearing that people want to normalize pot will never stop. But some people want to make conform everything. If that were to arise, and we were to adopt some helpful of universal healthcare would be mutually exclusive and counter productive goal.

What are some of the Ya thoughts on this.

The legalization of immediately illegal 'street drugs' would step a long way toward address some of society's most vexing ills. The "value" of these drugs would in a jiffy plummet. The real crimes associated near drug use (e.g., murders) would no longer be an issue (no need to exterminate rival drug gang members anymore).

The allure to teens would sharply decline (where's the thrill in doing something LEGAL?). The prison overcrowding problem would virtually disappear overnight. Law enforcement official would be freed up to focus resources where they are REALLY needed: crimes WITH VICTIMS.

Drug use/selling is a victimless "crime", and so should not be a "crime" at all. Criminalizing stupidity (yes, I surmise using drugs is moronic) only serves to fuel the problem and wad the pockets of DEA workers (and other government employees).
