I broke it playing hockey last year, and i also play football. Im a linebacker, a position beside a lot of contact. Im wondering what the probability of rebreaking it in football is? or if anyone know in common?

My son just broke his femur at a hockey hobby 4 weeks ago. His orthopedist said that the bone heals stronger but the chance of him breaking it again is high. I don't know why and I didn't ask...but he said once a bone is broken, at hand is a better chance it will break again. Becareful.
