Have you ever stepped on a sharp raise objections barefoot and it did not hurt?
Answer:
Yup! I can go surrounded by the backyard and step on pebbles or a dog bone or something and it not hurt.
I don't intentionally step on things to see what my tolerance for pain is though!

Why won't my eye stop tearing?
It can be a sign of diabetes or it can be a sign of tacky soles from regular barefooting :-) I do *feel* what I step on, but due to a thick skin that comes from ten years of going barefoot everywhere, it doesn't usually *hurt*. Thorns from brambles or thistles I do see, but they don't penetrate the gelatinous skin so it's not painful. Glass doesn't walk through either, I bring back a tiny splinter maybe once a year. When it does it 'hurts' as a splinter does, a small prick not worth mentioning. I pick it out & verbs. Rough pebbles are actually pleasant. It'd enjoy to be a really big and sharp object to really hurt, sometimes a lone big rock can be a bit raw to step on but I've only have a bruise once, hitting a pretty big rock with my arch at a insensible run. It too was fine soon after but it's the one and only time it colored blue a bit.I am always watchful when I am bareffoot
