Cut on my appendage occupied next to pus. The doctor drained it, and put me on antibiotics. The pus is support. What to do?
I got it from a splinter. Once the splinter was removed. A few days following, it was infected. I went to the doc, they drained it and put me on antibiotics. It is full of pus again. It's beneath the skin though. Should I poke it with a needle to drain the pus myself? It already cost me $150 so far and I don't own a lot of money. They took a culture, but the results won't be back for a few days. I would appreciate some proposal.


Cut the tip of my thumb. Is there anything a doctor could do?
I was at work and cut rotten a small piece of the tip of my thumb with a message opener. I cleaned it and applied a band-aid. It bled through the band-aid so I repeated and put another and and removed it in the region of 15 min later. The cut have stopped bleeding and I have a small crater-like cut going into the tip of my thumb. It looks pretty horrible but since it's not really a slit and more of a crater I don't think it could be stitched anyway. Any aid?

I'm considering seeing a doctor, but i may be required an appointment, and i dont have time to produce apointments. Do i need to see a doctor? What's wrong near me, how can i stop the pain?
