Health insurance "pre-existing illness" meaning?
I don't completely understand vigour insurance as I'm still covered under my mother's. When a soul switches health insurances, what constitutes a pre-existing infection that they will not cover? For instance, I'm on a few medications so will a spanking new insurance company not cover those specific medications or any medication used to treat the overall condition? If any case is correct, is it possible that a doctor can sign something that say the person must stay on that specific medication so that the insurance company must cover it? For example: I hold GERD and am on Prevacid and Reglan. If I change vigour insurances will they change the drug to something else like Nexium or will they not cover any medication have to do with GERD at adjectives?

OK... My fiance is not from the U.S. and I will have to completely support her for a few years probably. She is infantile (21) and very stout now, non-smoker, but have had heart surgery, breast surgury (cancer related I believe), and one other surgery that I'm not to sure of... I'm really not kid... I'm 26 years old and I hold Blue Cross Blue Shield in North Carolina. My condition is probably okay but I want some tests done to be certainly sure. Unfortunately my rates are going up and my deductible is going back to $0 (I think) this January. At the bright price it'll cost nearly a third of my income each month. The principle I got insurance be to get a few things checked out and possibly start allergy shots (my seasonal allergies seize pretty bad) yet due to the deductible I couldn't and can't return with those things done. I really need my money for other bills but my vigour is important to me. Should I withdraw my insurance and if I do are there any penalty? Thank you.


Health insurance coverage conflict with surgery done out of the country.?
Hi, I am considering traveling abroad for non-cosmetic surgery. The most important reason for doing so is the part of care I can afford (several weeks on intensive physical therapy). I already have one surgery for same issue here in US beside limited nouns, and fear going thru a "re-do" even next to another doctor that participates near my insurance (not the best in the world). Hence the decision of going in a foreign country.. So, if I have a surgery out of the country - can my insurance at some point "stick it to me" and deny me coverage if I ever have another problem related to this surgery out of the country? I'm trying to find out the consequences of seeking medical help out of the country, and the insurance coverage is the first one that comes to mind.
