I torn my left calf muscle nearly 4 weeks ago now. I go to the hospital where they treated me for a DVD ( which it wasn't) and diagnosed me with a torn muscle. I enjoy been resting it and trying to do a bit more walking everyday but i still can't put my heel to the floor or walk minus 1 crutch. The pain as well have moved to all over my leg instead on just 1 side. It is throbbing everyday and it is worse at darkness. It is still swelling, this happens mainly contained by the evening. Am i doing something wrong? and how long does it normally take to treat? or does the pain get worse formerly it gets better. Thanks

I had this operation done on March 27th. I'm on short-term disability (till May 5th) and when I see my dr. Thursday she will see if I can go final to work.I'm hoping for the 6th. Anyway.I'm trying to regain some stamina so I went on a 2 mile hike yesterday...which seem ok but in order to seize to the trail, we had to go uphill which hurt my legs more than my abdominal muscles. Today I'm foreboding some twinges, not really painful but still there. My dr. be kind of nonspecific about timetables and really lone gave me specific instructions for the first week (lifting, driving, etc.). Anyone have this done? Just curious more next anything to see what others went through and how long it took to feel "normal" again.
