hospital moments?
i went to the hospital finishing year. they didn't know what was wrong beside me for about a partly hour, i pretty much diagnosed myself by saying it be really thirsty. they took my blood without unfolding me and stuck the IV in. what happen when you went to the hospital? a moment ago wondering, kinda bored.


Hospital Nutrician?
My mother recently and enormously reluctently went into hospital in Bristol. I worked in the NHS for 15 years and I'm not sure why I be so shocked considering, but why is it that basic necessities such as food is so disgusting at the moment. For example, one day as an alternative to the salad that she requested, she be given mashed potatoe which have acquired a skin, corned beef pie, broccoli, carrot and baked beans. This was followed by a yoghurt that be four days out of date! Needless to say aloud, the food was, as the majority of meal on the ward, returned and I presume thrown out. Such a waste and as nutrician is such an prominent part of retrieval, very worrying. The smell of hospitals have changed over the years from the "anti-sceptic clean aroma, to overcooked mixed veg.ugh!


Hospital patients?
i had a concussion on tuesday night/wednesday morning and im finally recovering from it in a minute. they kept me in the hospital over darkness which i thought was charitable of weird because i wasnt outlook alright at all. i wanna hear in the order of some concussion stories and im curious on how badly your concussion be and how long the hospital kept you. also, how did you get your concussion? mine be from stress alone and my body gave out while i be in a tap class. how about the rest of you?


Hospital Phobia?
I want to get a antenna job and my mom said I could do it within the summer but the only problem is I own a really big phobia of doctors and needles and hospitals and surgery alltogether. Any advice?

I'm an EMT student and lately recently I started working in the emergency room for the clinical slice of the course....we need 25 long-suffering contacts and with respectively patient, we obligation to fill out a weekly on what the condition/treatment was. So, we have a 93 yr old womanly come in next to a femur fracture (broke right in half), no traction splint be applied, and she wasn't c/o any pain. They took her upstairs to come clean and I missed the rest!!!! What is going to be the treatment for this lady? Please relieve...

I have an appointment beside my surgeon for next week Saturday (first appointment available) but I conjecture that I might need lend a hand before later. I have a hernia that I believe to be incarcerated. I hold had overwhelming nausea several days ago that subsided along beside constipation for the past week. This morning I woke up again beside the severe nausea. I was purely wondering if anyone knew how much a stop by to the hospital would cost me and if also if possible anyone know how much emergency surgery would cost. I'm insured.

How bad is the service at your local hospital?
I was newly at a hospital that used to be exceptional in the method it treated patients, but things have changed and I am shocked. I be in misfortune and emergency and told I could see a doctor if I waited two hours, which is above-board. I waited 3 hours and be called surrounded by, which again to me is reasonable. I saw a nurse who said this wasn't an emergency and to hang around in the treatment room to see a doctor. I wait and another nurse came contained by and said I should go to the fundamental waiting room again as it wasn't an emergency and wait to be called again. I asked how long this be likely to be and I be told another 4 hours. This is not so acceptable, no main incidents had come contained by and I had already be there 3 hours plus the time I wait in the treatment room. This be the hospital who would assess and treat patients effectively and efficiently, so what happen? What are your hospitals like? My story is a moment ago about wasting my go waiting but what has happen to you?
