Was I wrong for quitting this brief at the nursing home?
I started working at a local nursing home 2 weeks ago. This was my first day as a CNA ever. I cultured so many good things and be eager to start in a nice channel. The first day they let me "shadow" another CNA, who seem to be very bothered that I was next to her. She hardly talked to me, completely impatient. A patient was screaming she be dying, help help back. I went in in attendance and asked if she needed the nurse. This CNA that was with me said: don't verbs, this patient always does that, she's a troublemaker. Then I couldn't whip it anymore, I knew in my heart I have to go get the nurse. The nurse sounded markedly bothered when I told her about this patient, and finally get up to see her. She put the patient in oxygen, she coulnd't breathe. THe subsequent day the patient be sent to the hospital, she had acute bronchitis. I saw so many wrong things. They said I be a troublemaker. After 3 days they put me by myself and didn't tell me what to do, didn't give me a subsection to be with patients. I quit.
