Unusual ankle injury. Treatment?
I was jump a double on my motorcycle and landed on the uphill side of the landing ramp. Didn't crash, but I have the balls of my foot on the pegs instead of the middle of my foot like I be supposed to, and had a immensely hard impact when I land. My feet bent UPWARD, and I on the double crawled around on the ground with the top and heels of my foot on fire (not literally). Never could put pressure on moved out foot, and very small (1/2 cm) gamut of motion in adjectives directions. 3 days later (after Resting/Icing/Elevating/No walking) Larger span of motion, still slightly swollen, no bruising, but still no weight carriage allowed. When I put pressure, I feel the intense strain along the top of my ankle (tarsals) and the back of my heel. Usually ankle sprains are from rolling to any side. Have never had it from bending my foot UP. I cannot see a doctor (finances) I would appreciate any warning.

Was my osteopath right discharging me from his treatment on NHS?
I have a slipped disc and a sciatica for 2 months now. NHS referred me to an osteopath but today he told me if I don't agree to enjoy an operation he will discharge me, so he did so. I did not want to have an injection nor operation. He said if his treatments have not augment my condition by now I need an operation. But today I go privately to a physio and she said I don't need an operation just a suitable physio who can take care of me. Who should I trust more? To be honest I wasn't cheery with the treatment I had from the osteopath as he never did any stroke on me, I saw him once every 2 weeks (5 or 6 times altogether). Any advise? I will have a MRI scan subsequent week by the way.
