Who should I report poor treatment in an E.R. to?
Sun. I go by ambulance to an emergency room (private hospital - not county) after falling off a stepladder and twisting my spine and hitting my head. I be treated with Demerol, Oxycodone and Vallium and released at 1am. They 'forgot' to bestow me my perscriptions for Motrin, Vicodin and Soma. I slept all of Mon. and took Vicodin I have at home. Tues. I was surrounded by pain and have no more meds and called the ER and be told I would have to come posterior in and dally to be seen again since they forgot to endow with me the prescriptions. They said the meds couldn't be called contained by because they are narcotics. Wed. I talked to the E.R. Manager and she said she would "look into this" and see why I be released without one given the meds I needed. Its now the following Mon. and I've never hear from her again. I am on Medicare, and I know if I were to shift back to the ER they would charge Medicare again, and to be precise just wrong! I will report this to their chief of staff, but who else? I treatment suggestions.

Why do Hospitals require you to give your SSN formerly treatment?
I went to this hospital finishing night and i be wheezing from asthma. The Hospital staff instead of treating me kept insisting i provide them with my SSN although i have given to them my Health Insurance Card and my Drivers License. I felt so angry that i told them that i was'nt going to hand over it to them. Then i start to wonder why is an SSN so important to the Hospital ..IS it surrounded by order to be capable of provide it to the Credit Agency once you defect surrounded by your payments or what? And do they credit agency need your SSN to carry a grip on you?
